This way you can open an Android phone if you forget the lock pattern
If you have an Android phone you have many options to secure your phone and to prevent other people from using the phone without your knowledge. One of the most popular choices is the style where you can simply draw a pattern instead of passwords and exposure to forget it.
But also assuming you forget about your own style how you will be able to open your phone to you Steps:
Android Kitkat and older versions:
• After 5 failed attempts, the phone will be locked for 30 seconds.
• A symbol will appear below the pattern grid, allowing you to restore the ability to open the phone.
• You will be asked to sign in to your Google Account.
The only way to unlock your phone is to log in with your Google account and if you do not remember it, you will have to reset the factory for the phone and lose all the data and settings and also the files stored inside your phone.
Android for lollipop and newer versions:
If you are a phone that carries the Android version of Lolipop or newer versions, Google has removed the option to log in to the Google Account which has been explained before and you only have to reset the factory for the phone so you can login again
• From the browser on your computer, go to android.com/find and sign in with your Google Account (same as your phone).
• If your locked device is not selected by default, select it from the horizontal menu at the top left (you should see a 'Device connection' message next to the phone icon when trying to locate it)
• Once connected to the device, you will see the ratio of the battery and the network connected to it wirelessly.
• Click "Delete - ERASE" from the menu.
