Whatsapp extends the deletion period of messages sent for more than an hour
Last November WhatsApp allowed users to delete messages sent by you from the recipients devices within a period of 7 minutes, and now decided to extend the service for more than an hour during which can delete your message from all devices and not just from your device.
Previously the service supports the deletion of messages within 420 seconds or 7 full minutes, but now supports the deletion during 4096 seconds or 68 minutes any hour and 8 minutes and 16 seconds, and this is more than enough time opinion to delete messages from all downstream devices.
This extension is currently available in beta version 2.18.69 of the app on Android and will be available later on the final version of Android and iPhone.
Recent trials also showed new tests done by Wattab including adding a description to groups so that anyone can click on the name of the group to read a description about it and thus know the interests of the group before participating. It is noted that currently anyone can add a description to the group and not just managers, but this may change later.
The WhatsApp had previously tested a new feature that allows users pointing to any message they are hostile sent to him Forwarded message. This will help reduce spam or at least highlighted especially what allows the user to know the current message between the people they are not the writing and written by the user sender sign.
