Google officially launches Hangouts Chat to compete with Slack

As already planned, Google recently released the company's Hangouts Chat service, which targets businesses to become available for use by large companies and startups that intend to take advantage of this service. Google first talked about Hangouts Chat last year. This is a completely redesigned version of the Hangouts service that many people have heard about in the past. The new Hangouts Chat service comes with many changes to compete more with Slack. Google has been testing Hangouts Chat since then as part of the "First adopters" program, but has now decided to release them officially.

Hangouts Chat is a completely different service and is not intended for the Hangouts place solutions that Google users will still find in Gmail. In fact, Hangouts Chat is for big companies and startups looking for a cloud-based collaborative chat service that is similar to Slack's.

Like Slack, users will be able to create virtual rooms in Hangouts Chat for different teams in the company. It can also be used to organize tasks or teams for a particular goal. Each virtual room can accommodate up to 8,000 people, which means that this service is not just for small businesses. Users will receive direct messages and interconnected conversations as well.

Google will release Hangouts Chat on Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows so users can access the service on the operating system they use. There will also be a web interface to access the service. There are also a total of 25 Bots that interact with other Google G Suite apps on Hangouts Chat so users can use @Drive to get updates on shared files and @Meet to schedule meetings.
