Discover a way for Android users to go back to the old Snapchat design

When Snap Inc announced that it was updating the Snapchat application design, this started as a good news. Unfortunately, it turned out that things got worse until more than 1 million users signed a petition asking the company to return to the original design. The worst news is that Snap Inc CEO Evan Spiegel recently confirmed that the old design will not be revamped and will henceforth be relied on for the new design.

The good news is that there seems to be a way for Android users to go back to the old design of the Snapchat application, which is the way Google 9to5 has accessed and presented its details accurately. According to this site, it appears that users will initially have to delete the latest version of the Snapchat application from their smartphone, and then disable automatic updates to prevent the old version of Snapchat from being automatically updated to the new version. In this case you will have to start from scratch again.

Once you do this, you'll need to download the older version of the Snapchat application that is currently available for download as an APK. Obviously this is not a formal installation process and as usual there will be some risks involved in the download process and manual installation, so moving forward is a process at your own risk. However, if you are not much concerned with downloading and installing the application manually, and you would like to get the old design of the Snapchat application, you should follow this method.

Of course the downside is that using the old user interface means that you will not get the latest features and fixes that apply to the application through updates, but if you can handle this fact, why not use this method? Before that, there was a solution that allowed iOS users to go back to the old Snapchat design, and Android users now seem to have their own way too.
