Huawei P20 Pro is subject to scratching, burning and bending tests
Huawei P20 Pro from Huawei is the latest smartphone to be subjected to scratching, burning and bending tests by the famous JerryRigEverything. The latest flagship phone from Huawei started well, but did not finish the test as well.
The Huawei P20 Pro scratch screen was only at level 6, and in Level 7 there were deeper scratches. Huawei protected the Huawei P20 Pro screen with plastic screen locks from the company, but did not announce any Gorilla Glass of any kind above the screen.
This seems to be a problem because when the phone is bent the Huawei P20 Pro cracked the windshield of the device. The front glass is the only one to crack, while the AMOLED screen remains intact. However, it seems that the cracking occurred at level 7 where the screen was scratched using Mohs tools.
Therefore, this glass layer may not crack if this scratching is not present in the first place. On the other hand, more than 100 phones have been subjected to this test, most of which have survived without any crash.
In the combustion test, the AMOLED screen of the Huawei P20 Pro lasted about 20 seconds, but it did not recover yet, but it is known that the AMOLED screens do not recover after being burned unlike the LCD screens.
