YouTube application on Android supports playing "main" videos automatically without sound
The new feature inYouTube provides the user with the ability to play "home" videos automatically or when connecting to Wi-Fi networks or permanently disabling them.
YouTube is known to support Autoplay, which plays the next video in the recommended video list for the current video, but it started last October to test autoplay for videos on the YouTube homepage on Android.
Now after 6 months of testing, YouTube has launched the feature launch for users to apply to the Android system, accessible from the settings then the "Autorun" menu, then the "Autoplay on Home" option.
The feature automatically plays video while users browse the "Home" feed. The section that starts automatically is usually the closest to the top of your screen. Users will see the thumbnail first, but after a second, the rotary load indicator will appear to the right of the video in the lower right corner.
When the video starts up, users will see a waveform indicating how much audio is in the segment, and if the subheadings are in the video, they'll start showing, allowing the user to hear the conversation before clicking the video. Clicking on the video works as usual.
