Google Announces Very Short Skippable Ads On Youtube

Google has announced that it has launched a new type of skippable advertising on the YouTube platform, where the company said it will enable advertisers to place ads up to 6 seconds only!

The company launched the name TrueView For Reach on YouTube's new ads, which will allow to raise the level of creativity in the advertising industry by reducing the length of advertising.

Two years ago, the company announced six-second non-skippable ads, but decided to change its policy with a new type of skippable ad after the fifth.

During the old skippable ad system, a marketing company paid only when the ad was viewed for up to 30 seconds or when it was viewed fully or when the ad's link was clicked. This ad appears before the video on YouTube or during video viewing, but new ads will be less expensive for marketers.

According to the company, it has tested the new YouTube advertising format with several companies, which has shown greater advertising effectiveness and lower cost to advertisers.

Samsung and Pepsi talked about the ad test and the great effectiveness it offers. Samsung was able to reach 50% more people than half of what it paid for CPR or revenue per thousand impressions. While Pepsi revealed that the cost of advertising has become about 46% less than the previous with more effective access to users.
