Strategy Analytics describes the Xperia XZ2 as a "battery king"
Strategy Analytics usually measures the performance of smartphones in the market, but at Sony's request, analysts have taken on a new role - testing the battery life of the leading smartphones that have reached the market.
According to the final results revealed by Strategy Analytics, the Xperia XZ2 came at the top, followed by its smaller brother Xperia XZ2 Compact. For the third place, the phone was the LG G6, which narrowly won the iPhone X, which ranked third.
Here's how to do the tests: Phones are used for 16 hours a day, including calls, text messages, browsing, social media, games, camera use, and media files. Moreover, it has left applications running in the background to do its turn. As for the settings, the screen is set at 150 nm, the volume is maximized and the rest is left in the default state.
Of course, you can argue that these are not actually leading smart phones. Why was the LG G6 tested instead of the LG V30 and why was the Huawei P10 instead of Huawei Mate 10? All these smart phones were released before the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact phones. In addition, there are Plus versions of the Galaxy S9 and Oppo R11 that come with larger batteries.
