Google allows users to purchase products through Google Assistant and Google Search

Google today announced the launch of a new program called Shopping Actions. The idea behind this program is to take advantage of the countless "where to buy" searches that the online search giant sees to provide customers with an easy way to buy products through Google Assistant and Google Search using a standard vehicle regardless of their devices, A computer, a portable device, or even a smart Google Home speaker.

Google says its data shows that the number of "buy-to-buy" researchers has risen 85 percent over the past two years. More than 44 per cent of those who use the smartphone at least once a week said they used their devices to order products like groceries and household items at least once a week.
The unified shopping experience will allow customers to save their payment details and then make purchases from participating retailers through pay-as-you-go. Google will deduct from retailers as part of this program, which will be separate from advertising payments by retailers to Google for products served as advertisements.
This will make browsing easier to buy. For example, customers will be able to purchase a specific smartphone from the Amazon store after searching for it on Google and adding it to the Google Express. The customer can then request something else through a smart audio amplifier that includes Google Assistant, which means buying both items at once through a secure payment process hosted by Google.
Google already tested this with some partners and saw an average increase of about 30 percent in the volume of purchases. Shopping Actions is open to all retailers in the United States, regardless of size.
