Galaxy Note 9 may come with support for 5G
As telecom operators plan to launch fifth generation 5G networks, we may not have to wait long until the fifth generation networks become the new standard to replace 4G LTE on our smartphones. But the next problem is the limited availability of smartphones that support fifth-generation networks, knowing that these smartphones are not available in the market today.
However, if you can wait for the latter part of the year, you may be interested to know that a new report from South Korea recently indicated that Samsung plans to support the 5G VG networks in the Galaxy Note 9. The report indicates that Samsung is looking To switch to HRC antennas instead of using LDS antennas currently in use.
What this means is that the phones will be equipped to support VG 5G networks, although the next question is whether the modem that will be included in the phone supports V5 networks or not. Samsung's interest in fifth-generation networks is very clear. Last month, the company unveiled a prototype of a tablet that supports fifth-generation networks.
But according to the rumors, the modem that supports the fifth generation 5G is expected to reach the Exynos processors in 2019, meaning there is a chance that we will not see the smartphones that support the fifth generation 5G networks this year. In both cases, it's best to treat the content of this report with less enthusiasm at the moment, but if you think you can convince yourself not to buy a new phone now, you might think about waiting and see if the rumors are true.
