A developer succeeds in bringing the Street Fighter game to the real world with the help of ARKit
As more companies start pushing forward with enhanced reality technology these days, we're beginning to see some really great apps. For example, one of the developers benefited from the ARKit enhanced reality software package developed by Apple to bring the Japanese horror film "The Ring" to life.
In fact, the same developer, Abhishek Singh, has since tested another presentation by taking advantage of ARKit's enhanced software development package, this time bringing Street Fighter II fighters into the streets. In the above video, we show how Abhishek Singh used the enhanced Reality Street Fighter II technology in the real world, where players can fight each other in the real world using characters in the Street Fighter game.
As with The Ring, the graphics are not excellent or realistic, but the app is truly stunning. Players can even walk near the fighters and walk around them as you expect in real life. Speaking to Gizmodo, developer Abhishek Singh said: "It's a kind of Mexican confrontation except that the virtual wrestlers are fighting in this ring between you. So it is actually a live multiplayer experience in fact enhanced, fully functioning and playable. "
Unfortunately for those who want to play the game developed by Abhishek Singh, they are not yet available to the public. The developer said he will need to deal with some copyright issues first, which is not surprising since Street Fighter is owned by Capcom. Meanwhile, players can watch the game as it is working in the video above.
