LG G6 and LG V30 will get Android Orio 8.1

LG G6 and LG V30 will get the Android Update for Android 8.1, which is part of the recommended Android device for organizations.

Hardware manufacturers typically provide support for their phones for two years from the date of their official release. In 2017, LG has released its flagship phones LG G6 and LG V30, which means they are eligible for Android updates.

LG is now announcing that these phones will be available around the world on the Android Android 8.1, so that these phones will become part of the new Google Android device recommended for Android Enterprise Recommended after receiving this update.

With this certification, Google will recommend the use of both devices in companies and institutions, as they meet high standards of security, reliability and productivity, increasing the value of these smartphones for business users and increasing the confidence of decision makers in information technology.

Speaking of these devices, the company is currently testing the trial version of the Android Oryo update for the LG G6 in China, while the test version of this update for the LG V30 is still in South Korea.

Apart from China and South Korea, the LG V30 still operates with Android 7.1.2 nuggets in the rest of the world, while the LG G6 is powered by Android 7.0 nuggets.

It is not yet known whether LG will be working on providing this update for the rest of its devices, and it is interesting to know that these devices will get the Android update Orio 8.1, not the Android update orrio 8.0 only.
