Facebook launches a service for dating and allows users to clear browsing history
Facebook's founder and CEO Marc Zuckerberg said on Tuesday that the social networking site is now a new privacy control feature called "history removing" that allows users to delete their browsing history.
In a blog post on Facebook, Zuckerberg said he would discuss the feature at Facebook's annual F8 conference, which began on Tuesday.
"This feature will allow you to see sites and applications that send us information when you use them, delete this information from your account and prevent us from storing it with your account later," the company said in a separate article.
Zuckerberg compared the new tool with the browser's cookie scanning feature, which he said could negatively affect some user experiences and might have to reset some of the things.
Zuckerberg said during the conference that Facebook intends to launch a dating service is the first of its kind to the social networking giant, adding that the dating service is normal with a company specialized in connecting people together through the Internet.
