Instagram allows the user to download a copy of there data

Like Facebook, users will soon be able to download a copy of their data and the content they share on the service.

This feature comes from the proprietary Facebook application of Entgram for European privacy protection requirements where users are required to have their data stored on Web sites and services.

Under the user's request to get a copy of his data, he will be able to download a compressed file containing all the pictures, videos and private messages that have been exchanged and are still on the site. The lists of followers, comments, comments, etc. will not be available in the data available for download.

European terms also require technical companies to delete the content that the user requests.

Facebook will also apply European laws in the United States, although it is not required to do so, Mark Zuckerberg said during the hearing today.

Facebook has allowed users to download all the data they have posted on the site since 2010, six years after its launch, but it is now eight years since the launch of Entragram and it is not even possible to save content after publishing on the site without external applications.
