Google Chrome will provide an easy way to add emoticons for computers
Emoji emoticons have become a large part of Internet culture. People spend much more time using a smartphone instead of using a personal computer these days. Even these days, it's still not easy to use Emoji emoticons while using a PC powered by Mac, Windows, or ChromeOS.
There's good news for emoticons first reported by 9to5Google that the latest version of the Google Chrome Canary demo, which targets developers, is now able to use emoticons although you need to manually activate this feature. To activate this feature, go to chrome://flags and search for emoji and then activate chrome://flags/#enable-emoji-context-menu. We tried this step with the Windows version, but it does not show us the Emoji list.
We're likely not able to see this feature in the stable version of Google Chrome for Windows any time soon, but we can expect this feature to reach stable Google Chrome versions on Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS in the not too distant future.
