YouTube does not work .. Here's how to fix it on Android devices

YouTube is the world's largest online video platform, with more than 1.5 billion users per month, nearly 400 hours of content uploaded every minute, and more than 1 billion hours of videos watched every day, so what to do when you discover that YouTube does not work?

Restart the phone
Many smart phone problems are fixed by restarting, which closes applications that run in the background, which may cause issues you're experiencing.
It's a quick and easy solution that takes only a minute or so, and if you find that YouTube is not working, just hold down the power button on your device, click on the on-screen reboot option, and after you turn on your smartphone, open the YouTube app and check Whether the issue has been resolved.

Check your Internet connection
YouTube videos may not work because you have trouble connecting, the first thing you should do is check whether you're online or not.

Update the operating system
You may have a small chance to fix YouTube by updating the system. You should open the Settings menu on your device, choose System Updates, and then download the update if available.
Keep in mind that depending on your device, system updates may be under the About phone option in the Settings menu.

Clear application cache and data
The next fix in this list is to clear your YouTube cache and data, so you have to open the Settings menu on your device, click Apps, and select YouTube.

The next step is to choose storage, where you will see two options, wipe data and clear the cache.

Clear the cache first and check if YouTube is working properly now. If it does not, go back to your data and also remove it to see if it fixes the problem.

Check the date and time settings
Although this may seem strange, date and time settings may be the cause of YouTube related issues, as Google servers may have trouble synchronizing with them if you do not configure them correctly.

YouTube application update

The last thing you can try if you see that YouTube is not working is to update the app on your device. To check if an update is available, open the Google Play Store app, select My Apps and Games from the list and check if YouTube is in the list of updates.
