Twitter begins today blocking digital currency ads
Since rumors spread that Twitter will follow both Facebook and Google and block digital advertising, it is now confirming these rumors as Twitter has started blocking these ads.
According to Reuters, Twitter confirmed that it would block all digital currency announcements, such as digital currency display ads, symbol sales, foreign exchange and portfolio services, unless public companies are listed on the main stock exchange and limit the announcement of secret exchanges in Japan to those under the NSA.
Twitter also said the ban came to protect users' safety and that it was taking many measures to prevent digital currency accounts from engaging in deception.
The ban came from Twitter after Facebook implemented the ban in January, while Google announced it would ban in June.
