Facebook gets the license of major music production companies
Facebook added another major music production company to its licensed group so that its production could be used in its videos or affiliate services without infringing intellectual property rights.
Warner Music Group has signed a licensing agreement with Facebook to add to Universal Music Group and Sony, two of the world's largest music companies.
Facebook aims to license agreements with the Big Three to allow users to publish videos containing parts or all of the songs that they produce without being sued and infringing intellectual property rights.
Not removing videos to infringe intellectual property rights will encourage users to create and publish more videos and even may play them while streaming. Facebook will, of course, display ads on those videos and benefit from its revenue and even benefit all the parties associated with the songs.
Facebook remains in agreement with Merlin to obtain licenses to use the music for independent singers, and the content of the global music content has been completed to spread through the company safely.
