The Nokia 8 Sirocco phone may include a Snapdragon 845 processor
HMD Global achieved a great success in 2017 in terms of sales of Nokia phones, making it planning to launch a new range of phones in 2018.
HMD Global will launch the latest range of Nokia smartphones for Android at the MWC 2018 Mobile World Congress, to be held this month in Barcelona, Spain, including the 2018 version of its flagship Nokia 8 phone.
According to the leaks, the company is planning to rename this phone for the Nokia 8 Sirocco, TA-1005 model, in an attempt to revive the Nokia 8800 Sirocco launched by Nokia in 2006, and was the highest device within the company's products at the time.
For Nokia 820 or Nokia 8 Sirocco specifications, the device should include a 5.5-inch OLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio, with the latest Snapdragon 845 processors, plus 6 GB Of RAM.
In terms of imaging, the device has a 13 megapixel camera back camera for the first color lens with the optical image stabilizer and 12 megapixel camera for the second monochrome lens, with a 13 megapixel front camera, in addition to the Android Oreo 8.0, USB Type-C, And a 3250mAh battery that supports wireless charging, while supporting the IP67 water and dust resistance standard.
The handset is expected to be unveiled during MWC 2018, along with the Nokia 9, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 Android Go and a 4G version of Nokia 3310.
