The Google Digital Assistant will support 30 languages and a wide range of devices

Google has announced that its digital assistant Google Assistant will support 30 languages this year, in preparation for its participation in the Barcelona MWC exhibition, which will start on February 26.

The company said it had sought over the past year to develop an assistant to understand the user's words in a limited range of languages including English, German and French. Adding that in the coming months it will provide support for some new languages such as Hindi, Dutch and Indonesian, in addition to the Swedish and Norwegian languages.

The assistant will support the ability to understand more than one language at the same time. The user no longer needs to specify his / her native language because the assistant will automatically understand the language he / she is speaking to pass on the required algorithms later.

In addition to the above, Google has collaborated with a group of smart phone manufacturers, such as LG, Sony and Chaomi, to support digital assistants widely within the devices, where users of these devices will be able to activate the digital assistant without the need to run the screen to name a few. In addition, Google cooperates with some telecom companies to become a Google Digital Assistant able to provide some answers on the types of packages and services provided by those companies.

Finally, Google promised to access the routine, ie, to execute a set of commands by uttering one command, after reviewing it earlier. It will also bring alerts based on location.
