LG will unveil Vision AI with an improved version of the LG V30
In January, some South Korean media reported that LG was going to unveil a new smartphone with artificial intelligence capabilities at the MWC 2018 Mobile World Congress, to be held later this month in Barcelona, Spain. Until then, LG today confirmed in a press release that it is already going to unveil AI's Smart Vision for smartphones in Barcelona, and that the technology will be included in the 2018 version of "the most advanced LG phone so far", this phone is from Without a doubt LG V30.
AI Vision AI will automatically scan items and recommend the best shooting mode knowing that there will be eight modes to choose from, including Portrait, Food, Pet, Landscape and City as well as Flower, Sunrise and Sunset. This technology will take into account the viewing angles, colors, background, saturation level, and reflections. These proposals were developed after analyzing more than 100 million images and creating more than 1,000 unique photo categories for accurate analysis.
LG's exclusive voice commands are one of the other forces of AI Vision AI. In cooperation with Google, LG has been able to upgrade the list of voice commands to 32, so that when a specific string of words is spoken, the Image Search feature will be opened, a QR Code scan will be scanned, panoramic images will be taken, and many other tasks will be done. To date, only some voice commands are currently available, including "Wide Angle Auto Capture" or "Unlock the Camera with Graphy".
Another thing AI Artificial Vision does is measure brightness in dark environments to make shooting mode in low-light conditions more accurate. Artificial Intelligence AI will also be able to analyze the elements that appear on the camera and will suggest you the option of purchasing these items online with their quotes. "LG's future lies in artificial intelligence, not just in hardware specifications and processing speeds," said Ha Jeung-uk, senior vice president, Mobile Communications, LG. "The creation of smarter smartphones will be our focus in the future," he added, pointing out that we may see this technology in the LG G7 phone also coming later this year.
