A new iOS bug causes your iPhone to be disabled when you receive a specific message
A new iOS bug appears to be causing your phone to be disabled when you receive a specific message. This flaw was originally detected by the Italian Mobile World Blog. Tom Warren of The Verge has tested this bug and posted the video you see below that shows us how this bug can cause the iPhone to be disabled when you receive a specific message.
This message that disables the iPhone includes characters from the Telugu Indian language, and when sent to Apple devices on iMessages, this disables the device. It appears that once this happens, the messaging application will no longer be able to open the message.
The only way to fix this is to ask one of your friends to send you another message and then open the application. Once opened, you will then need to delete the message containing those characters that cause the messages to be frozen on your phone.
