Google plans to launch a new design for Gmail in the coming weeks

Google plans to launch the new design in the coming weeks as an initial access program for G Suite customers and personal Gmail accounts.

The Gmail service is one of Google's most prominent services, with more than 1.2 billion users in July, so Google is keen to enhance the service with the benefits that keep existing users and attract new users.

A new feature, Google plans to launch a new web design from Gmail. In an e-mail sent to the G Suite service managers, the company says a new design will include a number of new features that will also be available to ordinary service users.

Google has promised "a new and attractive look to Gmail on the Web," with features such as smart reply, email delay, and offline support.

Google did not reveal exactly what the new design would look like, but it recently launched a new design for the calendar application, which included updating icons, colors, and clear boxes of events.

The most recent update to Gmail was the release of the separate Inbox application in 2014, but Gmail's Web design has not changed.

Google plans to launch the new design in the coming weeks as an initial access program for G Suite customers and personal Gmail accounts. "We're working on some of Gimel's main updates (still in review)," she said. "We need more time to be ourselves, so I can not share anything yet."
