The Galaxy S7 Edge receives Android Oreo update by mistake in Vietnam

AndroidU users received a message from a user in Vietnam indicating that they had received an update on Android Oreo 8.0 on their Galaxy S7 Edge, knowing that this update also brought with them the Samsung Experience 9.0 interface.

Samsung apparently released this update by mistake because the South Korean company has just begun the process of releasing Android 8.0 Oreo for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8, adding that Samsung has not yet tested this update with some owners of the Galaxy phone S7 Edge.

We do not know how many people were able to download and install the update in Vietnam, but there is at least one that got this update. Some images have been shared for the dual SIM version of the Galaxy S7 Edge and are running Android 8.0 Oreo in a general set of Galaxy S7 Edge users in the famous Telegram chat application.

Update Android 8.0 Oreo The Galaxy S7 Edge here is 1.4GB and has the number G935FXXU2ERB2. Before closing, we would like to point out that we already know that Samsung has already started updating the Oreo Android 8.0 for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, but we just do not expect it to be released at this early time. Again, this is not the first time that some users accidentally get a major update before releasing it to all users.
