Samsung unveils new "Over The Horizon" tone for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+

At the end of this week, Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ phones, but the company has decided to unveil the new tone of its new flagship phone six days later. As you probably know, the "Over The Horizon" tone was the default tone in the Galaxy series since 2011, and it got a new version last year and is now getting a new version this year.

The new version of "Over The Horizon" was developed by the Icelandic composer Petur Jonsson who played this new melody on the piano as shown in the video below. Samsung says the new "Over The Horizon" tone is composed of six tones, while pointing out that the piano sound is mellow, and that the images taken by the drone of the Icelandic countryside "evoke purity, and the core elements of human emotions that are often hidden In our daily lives ".

Samsung says that the new "Over The Horizon" tone has the ability to relax the mind and heal the soul, although this is the opposite of what people feel when they hear the phone ringing. The new "Over The Horizon" tone was rearranged to reflect the aesthetic transformation of the devices. At the end of the week we will see the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ continue to use the Infinity Display screen, which Samsung has decided to use on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8, at least if the previous leaks are true.
