Leaks: The Galaxy S9 will keep 3.5 mm headphone jack

New images of the Samsung Galaxy S9, which is the first to indicate the company's maintenance of the headphone port, have been leaked. Many companies such as Samsung, LG and a number of other companies such as OnePlus have been adhering to the inclusion of a headphone port; but this was not certain for the next Galaxy S9.

This phone is the one that will compete against iPhone X, Huawei Mate 10 Pro and other leading phones such as Google Pixel 2 and launched without a headset port. The USB-C headphones are all still either bad or expensive or both, and phones that maintain compatibility with 3.5mm connectors are very useful to consumers who have not yet been satisfied with Bluetooth headsets.

The leaked information today focuses heavily on the new DeX Pad platform, which looks like the development of last year's DeX dock platform, which was priced at 149 countries and working with the Galaxy S8. The purpose of these platforms is to facilitate communication between a Galaxy device and a nearby screen, where the phone acts as a desktop computer. The DeX Pad includes additional USB ports, a full-size HDMI output and a USB-C power connector.

According to reports, the new platform will allow the phone to be flat and used as a touch panel or keyboard, and is expected to be compatible with the Galaxy S8.

Apart from the appearance of the headphone jack in the pictures, a button for the Pixby audio player also appears on the Galaxy S9.
