Facebook supports group voice and video calls via Messenger

The new feature is now available for the application of Facebook Messenger through the latest version on Android and iOS around the world.

Facebook is known to dominate the IM market through the Wattasab and Musnager applications, and to maintain that dominance, the company is keen to promote applications with the best benefits.

Today, the US technology giant announced the launch of a new feature that allows voice and video calls collectively through the Messenger application, which the company believes it will facilitate and accelerate the users to make calls, especially between family and friends.

Facebook added that the Messenger application allows you to chat with one person or a group of people. Previously, to turn a video chat or voice chat from individual to group, you had to start a new chat by starting a whole new chat, choosing a previous chat, and then calling the person you want.

But with this new feature, you can simply turn any voice or video call into a conference call without having to cut off the conversation by simply clicking on the "add person" icon and selecting the person you want to join the conversation.

With the ability to easily add more people to your calls, Facebook said that you can continue your conversation right away as if you were talking to someone in real life and then a new person joined.

The new feature is now available for the Messenger application through the latest version of the Android and AOS systems around the world.
